TDS Sampler - What you can find at The Dolphin Song

Our unique family business incorporates all that we do in pottery, wood turning, hand work, jewelry and body therapy. But we also feature other artists and their unique work in paper, sculpture, embossed metal, blown glass, toy making, jewelry, stained glass and oil painting.

Products can be found from a hemp hacky sack to a fine hand painted silk scarf or that wonderful baby gift you have been searching for - made of felt, wool, silk, organic cotton or wood. Still to be found are flower essences, homeopathy and aromatherapy products, along with the books that tell you how to use them. You can also find books on organic gardening, Waldorf education, the environment, self-help and inspirational topics, and more.

Baskets, from a not so local organization located in Ghana, Africa, are an example of the practicality of their life and have many wonderful uses for us as well. We also have wood bowls and utensils, journals, Camp Hill products, yarns for knitting and crocheting, craft kits for all ages, and a limited number of handmade hats and rugs - rag rugs that is.

Toys that nourish children's play by encouraging them to use their limbs in movement, minds with imagination and hearts through feeling. Made locally, abroad and in cottage industries, all of our toys are made from natural materials such as wood, paper, cotton, wool, felt, and silk. Board books, fairy tales and storybooks for all ages of children are also on our shelves.

Jewelry from near and far - McKenna Hallett represents Hawaii with her Currents low impact jewelry. This is a woman wanting to leave a small footprint on the planet. She only uses found objects and an old treadle sewing machine modified for grinding to bring you creative thoughtful pieces of jewelry. California artist, Jamie Cloud Eakin works with beads, each unique piece is designed around the selected gemstone she uses as the focal point. Still from the west we have  silversmith Heather Kraty and her Island Cowgirl Jewelry. Her Silver jewelry with their wonderful accents are all made completely by her.

Kathy Broski, a ceramist, makes our picture frames, but is best known for her wonderful female form sculptures. These sculptures range in size from small Chicko Sticks to life-size Goddess forms.

Debra Volkland's 3D mixed media work can be seen in our SHOPPING section. We also have embossed metal pictures by Martha Velazquez, stained glass and oil paintings

Our yarn is natural whether you want to knit, crochet, or felt. So pleased are we to have local alpalca yarn from Pete and Sonda Caffrey's Honey Creek Farm  that is only a few miles away. This yarn is completely process in Kansas.
